# Google review QR code that opens the rating form directly

Paste the review link from your Google Business Profile. A customer scans the code on the counter, the receipt or the door, and lands straight on the stars — no searching for your business, no scrolling past the map. That one step removed is the difference between a review you get and a review you were promised.

1. **Copy the review link** — In Google Business Profile press “Ask for reviews” and copy the short link. A Place ID (starts with ChIJ…) works too — we build the address for you.
2. **Paste it here** — The code appears at once. We check that it reads and tell you the print size for a table tent or a sticker by the till.
3. **Put it where people are happy** — The receipt, the packaging, the counter after a good meal, the thank-you e-mail. Ask at the moment they are pleased, not a week later.

## It never expires
The link is written inside the code. A printed sticker keeps working for as long as your business exists on Google — no subscription, no redirect that dies.

The link opens the review dialog itself. Codes that lead to the map page lose most people on the way; this one does not.

## Questions people ask

### Where do I find the review link?

Open Google Business Profile (business.google.com or the Maps app as the owner), press “Ask for reviews” and copy the link. It looks like g.page/r/…/review. If you only have the Place ID, paste that — we add the rest.

### Does the customer need the Google Maps app?

No. The link opens in the browser and, on Android, in Maps if it is installed. The customer must be signed in to a Google account to leave a review, which almost everyone on Android already is.

### Is it allowed to ask for reviews with a QR code?

Yes. Google asks you not to offer rewards for reviews and not to filter out unhappy customers. Asking everyone, at the moment they are pleased, is exactly what the review link is for.

### Can I put my logo in the code?

Yes — we cut a hole for it and check that the code still reads. Keep it small: a sticker by the till is scanned quickly, from an angle.

### Why not just write ‘find us on Google’?

Because that is three steps: open Maps, type the name, find the reviews tab. Each step loses people. A scan is one step, and it lands on the stars.
