    Digits only — 48 for Poland, 44 for the United Kingdom, 1 for the United States. No plus sign, no spaces, no brackets.

    “I would like to book a table for two” works better than an empty chat, because it saves the person the hardest part: starting.

Works without a business account

The code points at wa.me, WhatsApp's own address for opening a chat. Nothing to register, nothing to pay, works for a private number too.

The prepared message actually gets sent

Because the person does not have to think of a first sentence. That is the whole trick, and it is why prefilled codes get answers where bare numbers get silence.

Your number is not stored anywhere

The code is built inside this page. We do not see the number, so there is no list of numbers to leak or to sell.

Questions people ask

Do I need WhatsApp Business?

No. This works with an ordinary account. WhatsApp Business gives you its own code inside the app, but only for the account it belongs to, without a prepared message and without a file you can print at any size.

How do I write the number?

Country code and number, digits only: 48123456789. Do not put a plus, spaces, dashes or brackets — WhatsApp reads them as part of the number and the chat does not open.

Can the message contain emoji or several lines?

Yes. Both are encoded properly. Remember that every character makes the code denser: a long message means a bigger code, which needs a bigger print.

Does the person need to have my number saved?

No, and that is the point. The chat opens with you even if they have never had your number, and after the first message you appear in their WhatsApp as a normal conversation.

Will it work on a computer?

Yes, the same address opens WhatsApp Web. The person scanning with a phone gets the app; the person clicking on a computer gets the browser version.
